Each module has a real backend, stored data and explicit limits. If a provider cannot supply the data, MarketPulse says so instead of inventing numbers.

Confidence is indicator agreement, not profit probability. Signals are withheld when data is stale, conflicting or volatility is extreme.

Data integrity

Real providers, honest timestamps.

Provider adapters return source, timestamp and delay status with every quote. A failing provider is marked disconnected and the next adapter in the chain is tried. If all fail, the last stored snapshot is served and labelled cached.

Cron triggers every five minutes, persisting quotes to D1 and refreshing KV caches. Provider health is recorded on every call.

Analyse & decide

Indicators and market structure produce a trend score. The signal engine refuses weak, conflicting or stale setups and logs why.

Queue & deliver

Notifications enter a Cloudflare Queue with dedupe keys and retries. Telegram delivery respects per-chat limits and logs every outcome.

FAQ

Clear boundaries, by design.

Does MarketPulse predict prices?

No. The forecast module produces ATR-scaled scenario bands from historical indicators and states its method and uncertainty. It never presents a single future price as certain.

Are all instruments real-time?

No. Crypto pairs use live public tickers; forex uses ECB daily reference rates (delayed); gold uses a spot feed. Every quote carries its delay status and timestamp, and cached values are labelled.

Can MarketPulse trade for me?

No. There is no order placement, swap, deposit or custody. The platform is an information and monitoring tool only.

What happens if a data provider fails?

The adapter is marked disconnected, the next provider in the configured chain is tried, and if none succeed the last stored quote is returned with a cached label. Signal generation is paused when data is insufficient or stale.

Is my Telegram bot token exposed?

No. The token lives only in Cloudflare secrets. Webhook requests must present the configured secret header, and chat linking uses single-use codes with expiry.
